Prizes: 3

Button to lower: Yes
Actual Grab %: 1 out of 3
Claw Type: 3 Prong
Claw Stop: Pressure

This is another good machine, it is very easy to win. The prizes all look really weird though. Its also inside a really good restaurant although shady. Like the machine before in the last post this machine has a high percentage to win. Although this machine does use pressure to make the claw stop.

A tip with crane games, is to get the prizes that have arms and legs that jut out from their bodies. So that if they were laying face side down that there would be an area between the ground and the prize. That way the claw is able to go under the prize and close more tightly. Also with the extra limbs it stops the prize from slipping off the claw as easy. Whereas if you had the prize on its back, if the claw is loose the prize will just fall. Hopefully I will have a picture with more detail of what is good and what is bad.

House of Pies

Location: House of Pies - 3112 Kirby Dr Houston, Tx 77098-2122 US
Cost: $0.25
Tries attempted: 5
Tries before prize: 2
Prizes: 3
Time: 20 Sec
Twists: Yes
Movement: Joystick
Button to lower: Yes
Actual Grab %: 1 out of 3
Claw Type: 3 Prong
Claw Stop: Time

This is excellent machine to play. The prizes are small and have many protruding limbs. There is also a large possibility to get 2 prizes in one grab. This is due to the prize size to claw ratio where the claw is so much larger than the prizes. Also the fact that the claw doesn't stop by pressure makes it a lot easier to play. So if you do make a mistake with the claw spinning you aren't punished by it as the claw will keep pushing downwards. Overall like I said, an excellent machine to play.

First Machine

Cost: $0.50
Tries attempted: 10
Tries before prize: 5
Prizes: 1
Time: 20 Sec

Button to lower: Yes
Actual Grab %: 1 out of 5
Claw Type: 3 Prong
Claw Stop: Pressure

I think the info above is what I will use for all the machines. I think they are all self explanatory except claw stop and actual grab %. The claw stop is whether when the claw lowers it stops going down because of pressure or because of time. There are some claws that just keep going down until a certain amount of time before it comes back up and grabs. The actual grab % is the time percent of the time that the claw actually grabs full strength. This is set by the person running the machine and it is different for different machines. However to throw a wrench into it the grab power of the claw can also be set. So you could have a machine that grabs at the full strength everytime but the strength could be at 75% instead of the 100%. There are many variables but hopefully with this we can cut the machines edge and find the easiest machines out there.

The prizes are good and you should def. play this machine if you see someone playing it first in front of you and they do not have the strong grab.

I lost my camera or I would post some pictures of the prize and the machine.

Introduction

I am just a simple boy living in Houston, but with a big interest in the claw game/crane game/ufo catcher/prize catcher game. Whatever you want to call it we all know what it is. We know how formidable it is as well. So with this blog I will try to give you a how to on beating the crane games. Yes! there is a way to beat the machine. It isn't easy but with some luck and some knowledge we can beat the crane games all over the world. I travel all over the world and I have met my fair share of crane games. But if you want to help out feel free to drop me an email or a message and I will post your latest crane game expedition.
